(a.k.a Cheeky Mal, The Gilf Hunter, Slum Landlord, TBF & many many more)
On February 4th 2024, after a short battle with Cancer, we lost one of the greatest humans to ever walk the earth, our beloved Mallorca Lee. It still doesn't feel right, that we have to create a tribute page on the website for our brother Cheeky Mal.
Mal was a pioneer in the Scottish Rave scene, with UltraSonic, Public Domain and his Solo work. From Music to Art to Comedy Podcasts, there was nothing this wonderful man couldn't do...(except coffee, he made a terrible coffee...just terrible)
From day one he used to say "I'll do the music, you do the comedy". He never believed that he was as much a comedian as any Comedian to ever hold a mic, and his laugh is as famous as his body of work.
As much as we have Mal's music and the HashTag Episodes, his laugh will live with us all forever.

In Mal's passing a Charity has been set up in his name. The objective of the charity is to advance the arts, by giving young underprivileged kids and adults the opportunity to learn to express themselves by creating music. Offering opportunities many would never have, to learn using high end equipment with instruction from UK or world-renowned artists, producers, remixers and DJs. Mal's dream and view was that music production should be open and available to all, not just those who can afford studios.
As soon as we have some updates of Events, and also ways in which you can support the Charity, we will let you all know.
In the meantime please continue to listen to Mal's music, listen to the old episodes of the Podcast and if you can, buy some Ultrasonic Merch with all proceeds going straight to Mal's family.
As the great man said "Love is our one true currency, Love, Love, Love"
